Terms of Use.

The ground rules for using Devincio’s informational website and starting a conversation about a project or support need.

Effective September 1, 2026 · Last updated September 1, 2026

This page describes Devincio’s current website practices in plain language. It is not legal advice and does not replace review by Devincio or qualified counsel.

Acceptance and site scope

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Devincio website. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to follow these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site provides general information about Devincio’s residential, commercial, trade-partner, and support services. It is not a substitute for a site-specific consultation, engineering review, professional advice, or a written project agreement.

Forms and project conversations

When you submit a Start a Project or Request Support form, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are permitted to share. Please do not include passwords, system credentials, payment-card details, or confidential information that is not needed for the initial conversation.

A submission is a request to begin a conversation, not an acceptance of work. It does not guarantee that Devincio will provide services, accept a project, meet a particular timeline, or quote a particular price.

Scope, pricing, schedule, responsibilities, and service coverage are established only in a written agreement signed by the applicable parties.

The information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Devincio name, logo, text, layouts, graphics, diagrams, photographs, and other site content are owned by Devincio or used with permission. They may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other applicable rights.

You may view the site and make a reasonable temporary copy for your personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, frame, or create derivative materials from site content or branding without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

Acceptable use

You may not use the site to:

  • break the law, impersonate another person, or submit deceptive information;
  • probe, scan, or attempt to access restricted systems or records;
  • introduce malware, overload the site, or interfere with its operation;
  • scrape or copy content in a way that unreasonably burdens the site; or
  • use a form to send spam, threats, or material unrelated to its purpose.

Devincio may limit or suspend access when it reasonably believes use violates these terms, threatens the site, or creates risk for others.

Third-party services and links

The site relies on third-party services for parts of its operation, including hosting and database infrastructure, Gmail delivery of internal form notifications, and Google Fonts. Those services may process information or be governed by terms that Devincio does not control.

The site may link to third-party websites or resources for convenience. A link does not mean Devincio endorses that provider or guarantees its availability, content, security, or privacy practices. Review the third party’s terms before using its service.

Availability and disclaimers

We may change, suspend, or remove pages, features, content, or form availability without notice. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, current, or free of harmful components.

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties, express or implied. Devincio does not warrant that information is complete or suitable for a particular project, and website information does not replace a written agreement or professional evaluation.

Liability boundaries

To the extent permitted by law, Devincio and the providers that help operate this website will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or business arising from or related to use of the site or inability to use it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Any liability for a Devincio project or service is governed by the applicable written agreement, not by a website description.

Project agreements and responsibility

You are responsible for your use of the site and for the information you submit. Any indemnity, limitation, dispute process, or other project-specific obligation applies only if it is included in a written agreement signed by the applicable parties. These website terms do not create a separate project indemnity or service obligation.

Changes and severability

We may update these terms as the site or business changes. The effective and last-updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent allowed by law.

If a court or other authority finds a provision unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to support@devincio.com or 847.830.8120. Devincio’s mailing address is 3182 Mac Arthur Blvd, Northbrook, IL 60062. These terms do not state a governing law or venue because those choices should be confirmed for Devincio by its owners and counsel.
