Our Process

From first conversation to everyday use.

Eight steps in three phases: plan, build, and live with it. Whether your project is still in drawings or already underway, we start from where it stands.

Start a Conversation

A good handoff begins long before installation. Follow what is decided, what is documented, and what the next phase needs.

Phase 01 — Plan

Settle the plan before the work.

Discovery, design, and documentation come first, because decisions made on paper are the easiest to change. If construction has already started, this is where we catch up with it.

  1. Understand how you'll use the space

    Discovery

We start with how you use the space, what it needs to do, and how it should look and feel within the architecture.

  2. Choose the systems and controls

    Design

We select suitable platforms, define how you'll control them, and align the plan with the architecture.

  3. Document every connection

    Engineering & Documentation

System diagrams show how everything connects, a cable-by-cable wire schedule tracks each run, and wall drawings mark device locations. That documented scope gives the trades a roadmap and supports fixed pricing.

What the drawings cover

  • The plan

Where technology belongs and how it connects.

  • The pathways

Concealed wiring routes in walls and ceilings.

  • The equipment

    One organized, serviceable rack location.

  • The rooms

Speakers, displays, and keypads placed with intent.

The drawing set covers the plan, the wiring pathways, the central equipment location, and the finished rooms.
Platforms referenced in the drawings
Plan
Documented schematics and wire schedules keep every trade working from the same plan.
Pathways
Ubiquiti and Araknis Networks backbone; fiber and copper structured cabling.
Equipment
Crestron control and centralized distribution; Lutron lighting control and motorized shading.
Rooms
Episode and Sonance architectural speakers; Sony, LG, Samsung, SunBriteTV displays; Sonos sources.

Manufacturer choices follow the architecture, scope, and requirements of each project.

Phase 02 — Build

Coordinate, install, and calibrate.

On site, the drawings do the work: every trade knows what goes where, and the installation follows the plan rather than improvising around it.

How we work with architects and builders
  1. Coordinate with your project team

    Trade Coordination

We work with architects, builders, electricians, and interior designers so equipment fits the construction plan and the finished space.

  2. Install to the drawings

    Installation

Our technicians follow the drawings: running cable along the planned routes, organizing the equipment rack, and fitting devices once surfaces are finished.

  3. Test and tune before you use it

    Commissioning & Calibration

Everything is tested against the design. We adjust sound for the room, refine saved lighting settings, and update control programming to make the system straightforward to use.

Phase 03 — Live with it

Handoff is a beginning.

The last two steps are about living with the system: learning it, refining it, and knowing who to call.

Explore ongoing care and support
  1. Learn the system with us

    Client Handoff & Familiarization

We walk you through the controls, then refine settings based on your initial feedback.

  2. Keep it running well

    Ongoing Support

Support continues after installation. Remote checks, preventative maintenance, and responsive support are available depending on system configuration and service plan.

Step 01 starts here

Step one is a conversation.

Residential or commercial, early planning or already underway: tell us about the project and we'll talk through where the process meets you.
